Critique
I read this book against my own will in English class, but I loved it. The book's plot moves quickly while still providing a lot of detail. The book is fun to read as it has such an interesting plot. The narrator, Scout, is a nine year old girl and she doesn't quite understand how the world works or the specifics of what is going on, but the reader gets plenty of detail. One example of this is when a group of men tried to lynch Tom at the jailhouse.
