Critique
Tom Sawyer is a book that seems like a kid wrote it, but I don't mean that in a bad way. The book seems like a child's dream. IT makes it very interesting because it is done so well. They become robbers and explore islands, stuff that I thought was awesome when I was younger. The only thing about this book that makes it less attractive for young readers is the complex language used. It can be very hard for readers to infer the meaning of certain words. Overall, I loved the book and I would highly recommend it, especially to a younger audience, say 5th to 7th grade.

What I would pack-
I would pack light if I was going to be spending time with Tom Sawyer. I would bring 3 shirts and 3 pants, a hat, sunscreen, a kinfe, a water bottle, and fire starter. These are all things I would take with me on a camping trip. Since Tom is always going on adventures, I feel these would be the most necessary to survive.
